The GCSE Maths course runs from September to June, two hours per week. There are three final exams at the end of the year in late May and early June but there are opportunities to practice exam techniques informally in class and more formally in mock assessments throughout the year. During the course, you will build your confidence and develop your skills and problem solving abilities in a range of topics including geometry, probability, statistics, ratio and algebra.
To be able to take the GCSE course, students need to be able to demonstrate working at a Grade 3 (old Grade D) standard at the start of the year. This will be assessed at the start of the course.
