The Counselling Skills Diploma is the gateway to Counselling Training. During the course we will look at how listening is the key to everything we do as humans. You will be able to develop your use of many other counselling skills and work with your peers to use these. The course will take you through a brief history of the development of counselling theories and their implications on modern practice. We will also spend time discovering ourselves. This is a very interesting and stimulating course, it is challenging in terms of the personal development work.
The course is either pass or refer, to pass you have to demonstrate competency of all the units.
Please note that on the Saturdays you will need to bring your own dinner, snacks and cup. Tea, coffee and milk will be provided by the course facilitators.
For the evening sessions please bring your own cup. There will be access to machines for snacks and cold drinks so bring change.
