This qualification covers a wide range of subjects including hot and cold desserts, cakes, biscuits and sponges, paste products and enriched dough products.

You will be required to complete a short answer question paper and several practical assessments for each unit.

You will study the following units:

  • Prepare & Cook Paste Products
  • Prepare & Cook Biscuits, Cakes & Sponges
  • Prepare & Cook Fermented Dough Products
  • Prepare & Cook Hot & Cold Desserts

Equipment Info

  • You will need safety shoes, chef's whites, hat and apron.
  • All other equipment and ingredients will be provided by college.
